The name’s Gauthier, and I am the founder of Zhuang Zi Inc.
A peculiar profile, in the sense that I’ve been standing at the crossroads of two careers for quite a long time: entrepreneurship and coaching.
This background gives me a unique vision of the struggles an entrepreneur can go through, and a unique toolset to help people make their dream projects come true.
I regularly work with like-minded people who have a very unique skillset, and I decided to create a company that could train and help entrepreneurs beyond standard consulting.
My formal training in social sciences, coaching and psychotherapy began in 2003 and got really serious in 2006 when I started considering a career in this field.
At the same time, being mentally stimulated by problem solving-oriented jobs, I often got involved in many companies, each one allowing me to learn new skills and meet people who would later offer me to become a co-founder in their next business, when I wasn’t the one founding a new company with a new idea popping up.
From one company to another, I have roamed many sectors: film production, event-planning, e-commerce, marketing, business intelligence, healthcare and well-being, fast-food, international relationships, bio-tech and the blockchain industry…
There are many ways a project can be fragilized: wrong priorities, misplaced ego, poor business planning, bad marketing and communication, insane technological choices, focus on factors outside of human control…
Over the past two decades I saw many people make these mistakes and made them myself, and my “aha” moment arose when I realized that while most entrepreneurs can understand their mistakes, only a few of them have enough self-knowledge not to repeat them.
Eventually, those two sets of skills merged, and I became a coach and trainer for entrepreneurs and project bearers of all levels: from a small business owner to a C-level operative… from individuals with just an idea to heavy-hitters from big companies trying to improve their efficiency, the mix between my business experience and my knowledge of the human mind gives my work a unique flavor that I feel happy to share.
Nowadays, I work with a team of competent people that I will summon if a mission requires it, and I will often suggest people from my network in order to give you the best training or advice.
